Ahoy! I’m Charlie, and I’ve been in this sport since 2018–2019. I was drawn to it by legacy—my dad fought before me, and his armor was always on display throughout my childhood. Today, I have the honor of fighting in that same armor, continuing his path and writing my own chapter in the sport.

Over the years, I’ve fought with several different groups. While I’ve had great camaraderie in each, many organizations were bogged down by internal drama and poor management. Armored AF has been a game-changer. Not only does it offer the same strong community of fighters, but it also goes above and beyond to truly support us.

With Armored AF, there’s no question: the fighters come first. Their mission has always been crystal clear—to open the sport to anyone willing to put in the effort. That kind of openness and opportunity is rare, and it’s been the driving force that’s kept me pushing forward.



Roger and the team at Armored AF have sacrificed so much to make the experience incredible. Things like lodging and fair pay don’t just make events more enjoyable—they actually make it possible for fighters like me to show up. That level of commitment doesn’t just support fighters—it strengthens the sport as a whole.

Roger Young

Executive Director

Roger Young is a driven and dynamic leader with a lifelong commitment to service, strategy, and community. A U.S. military veteran, Roger brings the discipline and integrity of his service into every aspect of his leadership. With a wealth of experience in nonprofit management, he has built a reputation for cultivating high-performing teams, launching impactful programs, and steering organizations toward mission-aligned success.

Beyond his nonprofit and military accomplishments, Roger is a trailblazer in the world of full-contact armored combat. With over 40 years of experience, he has helped shape the sport from the ground up—founding or co-founding multiple armored combat clubs and serving as Head Marshal for national and international leagues. His leadership has been instrumental in setting safety standards, growing the sport's visibility, and mentoring the next generation of fighters.

For the past four years, Roger has hosted a successful Pro Fight Series, with the last two years recognized as the only AMCF Ranked Pro Fight Series on the East Coast. His expertise, organizational mastery, and unwavering passion for both people and purpose make him a powerhouse addition to any team—and a driving force behind our continued growth and impact.

Andy Mussaw

Vice President

Our Vice President Andy Mussaw a first generation farmer, and entrepreneur, Andy has quickly grown Fresh Source Farms into a formidable force in the Delmarva region. Andy is quickly becoming recognized as an industry leader in the microgreens industry, providing one on one coaching to other growers, running several popular Facebook groups, developing FarmFlow, being one of the founding members of Urban Ag Academy, and consistently forging innovative ideas, efficient farm operations, and business strategies.

Teri Kidd

Treasurer

Teri Kidd, a Delaware native, brings over four decades of procurement expertise with a strong focus on indirect and service acquisitions. She has held key leadership positions at organizations such as Standard Distributing, Hologic, and Terumo Medical, where she was recognized with the FY24 Service Excellence Award. Beyond her professional achievements, Teri is a passionate advocate for armored combat sports. She has served as a Chapter Manager for the Armored Combat Worldwide League and is a Certified Armored Referee. She studied at the University of Delaware and Delaware Technical Community College and is ACIP-trained. Teri’s deep industry experience, dedication to excellence, and leadership in both professional and volunteer arenas make her a dynamic and valued member of the board.

Jobeth R. Bowers

Board Member

Jobeth R. Bowers is a successful trial lawyer, and founder of Bowers Law, LLC in Elkton Maryland. In addition to managing the firm and it's active case load, he is active within the Cecil County Community, and a member of the Elkton based Mid Atlantic Business Group(MABG). He has assisted over 2,000 citizens throughout the area since the founding of his practice, and recently became eligible to join the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He also devotes a significant amount of his time volunteering within the community, whether through county or state organized agencies or through his own pro bono efforts. He has received the prestigious honor of being named ‘Super Lawyer’ in each year that he has been admitted to practice, an honor only bestowed upon the top 2.5% of Maryland Lawyers. In his free time he is a performing and touring stage hypnotist, who devotes a significant portion of his stage time to performing for non-profit organizations, and to date has raised over $100,000 for these organizations through his performance efforts.

Suzanne Duphily Grenfell

Board Member

A lifelong Delawarean and seasoned accounting professional, Suzanne Duphily Grenfell brings decades of experience in financial management, nonprofit service, and community advocacy to the board. She spent over 25 years at Price Automotive Group and later served as a Senior Accountant with Delaware Guidance Services, supporting mental health programs for children and youth. Passionate about service, Suzanne is active in mental health awareness, opiate addiction education, and veteran suicide prevention. She also volunteers regularly at armored combat sports events, blending professional expertise with a deep commitment to community impact.
